My family is my world.  I have been happily married for 35 years.  We have two wonderful sons who are each married, welcoming 2 daughters into our lives.  We are blessed with a sweet natured, adorable grandson that lights up our world even more.  And not to be forgotten, we also love our two grand puppies, Hailey and Koda.   I am grateful, that through investing and good financial planning, I was able to work minimally and spend most of my days with my sons through their growing-up years.  During those years, I volunteered weekly in their classrooms, as well as holding several volunteer positions in our church.  My passion was coaching their soccer and baseball teams.  Not only was it a blast, but I also got to know their friends. As they continued to advance in their sports, I was their biggest fan – always making the effort to attend all of their games.  We continue to build our wonderful relationships by vacationing, playing softball, and spending a lot of time together.

I enjoy working with people who have similar goals.  I am excited to be part of a team that truly cares about their clients and each other. My career has been in the world of accounting, and more recently managing a payroll department that processes payroll for hundreds of different companies. I enjoy the team atmosphere in serving an outstanding product for the people who trust us with their financial security. I believe it is important to give back and help others. My current favorite charities are Family Promise and Harvesters.

I enjoy competition – whether it be participating in a game of cards, a board game, ping pong, or trying something new …such as hatchet throwing, escape rooms or Whirlyball.  I like the strategizing and the skill involved in participating, and I feel like it keeps me young.  I always enjoy cheering for our favorite local teams – the Chiefs, Royals or KU men’s basketball. I also enjoy working out at a small local gym, working out with the Dog Days crew, or running a local charity 5K.  Our Saturday morning dates are now working out with my husband, followed by breakfast visiting about all of the things we tried to do during the week.

We enjoy traveling when we get the chance.  We have traveled to a private villa in Mexico with close family a couple times, as well as traveling with other family members to beach-front Florida properties to spend weeks together. New York and spring training in Arizona have also been favorite destinations. All told, the bonding that happens during these trips is priceless.
